Rustic Canyon Pictures is producing a small slate of unique character driven films. Launched by Beth Earl in 2015, the company is committed to artful story-telling that challenges our perceptions of the world.

Our Mission

Beth Earl

Beth began her film career under the legendary filmmaker Albert Maysles. She has directed and produced several projects for film and TV including Amnesty International's Secret Policeman's Ball at Radio City Music Hall, and Red Nose Day on NBC. In 2015 Beth opened Rustic Canyon Pictures with the intention of focussing on her two loves, documentary and comedy.

Ronny Merdinger

Ronny Merdinger is a film and television producer who graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with a film & television degree. Merdinger joined the production team of HBO's cultural phenomenon Sex and The City. She went on to manage productions for BBC, HBO, NBC, Relativity Media, Paramount Pictures, Comedy Central, Warner Bros., Showtime and Fox.

Her vast body of work includes Sundance smash, Half Nelson, John Oliver - Live on Stage: Terrifying Times, HBO's Emmy award-winning comedy series, Flight of the Conchords. In the past few years Ronny has worked as an in-house producer at Medalia Productions, where she produced numerous documentary films and series, including HBO's Emmy Nominated The Oslo Diaries.
